Running to Defend the Fatherless
Join me in a remarkable journey to help an orphan in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
On September 25, 2011, I will be running in a half-marathon in Johnson City, TN in order to help Adam and Liz Howell raise the necessary funds to bring home their adopted child from the D.R. Congo. I will be running in the Bluegrass Half-Marathon, an event in the hills of Northeast Tennessee. My goal is to get as many people that are able to donate $.25, $.50, $1.00 or more per mile that I run to help the Howell's reach their goal. You may also just chose to donate a set amount to their cause.
In order to donate, click here or on the "Donate Now" page above. You will find there a secure Paypal button where you can donate directly to the Howell's adoption fund. After you decide how much you want to donate per mile, simply multiply by 13.1 miles for the half-marathon distance and then you can add that amount into the Paypal donation process.
